Fiesta Pensacola To Postpone Pensacola Seafood Festival

Pensacola, Fla. (August 3, 2020) – Fiesta Pensacola has closely reviewed the CDC, city of Pensacola and statewide recommendations regarding events and COVID-19. Based on current recommendations, the Pensacola Seafood Festival, scheduled for September 25-27, has been postponed to November 6-8. Fiesta is diligently working on festival updates in accordance with the latest recommendations. Some festival changes include, a modified layout to accommodate increased spacing between vendors, more sanitizing stations throughout the parks, and a smaller entertainment stage featuring local bands. Additionally, we are establishing protocol for increased, routine cleaning and disinfection of all dining areas and beverage booths.

At this time, even with the outdoor nature of this event, we will be recommending the wearing of masks and social distancing whenever possible. As always, the public’s safety remains our main priority. Fiesta Pensacola will continue to follow the recommended guidelines from state and federal health agencies moving forward. For the latest updates, please visit our website at: fiestapensacola.org or pensacolaseafoodfestival.com.

It’s sad to see the Pensacola Seafood Festival get postponed again, but it makes sense given the emphasis on community safety and adapting events to current health guidelines. It highlights how much we all value local traditions and shared experiences — whether it’s gathering for a festival or finding simple ways to support our own wellbeing with things like ashwagandha and shilajit tablets during stressful times.

It's unfortunate that the Pensacola Seafood Festival is postponed, but I understand the decision. While waiting, I treated myself to some delicious argentina meat. It's a great alternative to seafood and definitely hit the spot. I’ll be ready for the event when it returns, but for now, this meal was perfect!
